Hi All
You may have noticed the Dates of the World Contest has changed this is
to give our members in the pacific area some chance of taking part, it
is only a trial, dates may change again in the future to make it fair
for all taking part.
DATES: First weekend
Saturday 31ST of October 2009 @ 12 GMT to Sunday 12 GMT The 1st of November
Second Weekend:
Saturday 28Th of November @ 12.00 GMT to Sunday 29Th of November @ 12.00 GMT.
Points:
1 point for each contact then multiplied by each division worked EG:
250 contacts worked into 10 divisions 250 x 10 = 2500 points.
Contacts with all stations are valid only if a Progressive
Number and Signal Report have been exchanged from both individual
stations, No Progressive No point.
However if you work an activation a LOG entry will be accepted as i am
able to check the activation log book to confirm the contact..
The rules are the same as ever anyone can take part in the World SD Contest and all are welcome.
Log books can be downloaded from the web site and only official log
books will be accepted, all who participate in the contest whether it
be an SD member or not will have to send there log book in.
No QSL Cards are required.
A change has been made for this year, you can work / contact
your own division members / operators in any SD Contest, however
progressive numbers must be exchanged.
Please do not send more Excel pages than is necessary and do not colour
in anything other than is already on the log sheet, if you only fill in
one page then only e-mail one page as it can waste my paper and Ink.
Trophies will be given to the winners by the winning operators division
ie: If an Italian SD Member or non SD member wins the Contest the
Italian Division HQ will provide the Trophy and claim all expenses from
the SD HQ Treasurer.
The top 3 places of the Single and Multi Operators will receive a
trophy and the 1st place non SD Member in Single and Multi operator
will also receive a trophy.
Deadline for receiving the logs is the 28th of February 2010
No logs will be accepted after this deadline.
